It's like they had some very good footage for a short movie, but then they wanted to extend it to a full length feature. That is to say, some scenes are very evocative, but the majority of the rest is not quite on par.

This started from an interesting premise and leaned hard into Lovecraftian horror elements, but ultimately it couldn't stick the landing and the climax was a somewhat poorly acted, lightweight finish. Kudos, though, for getting this made on a very low budget and creating a relatively consistent mood and atmosphere. It's too bad there wasn't a little more to the film's larger themes and elements.

Just a boring nonsense. Waste of time.
