Synopsis
La future mariée Gemma, dont le fiancé Nathan tombe raide mort peu avant le jour de leur mariage. Encouragée par la sœur très décalée de son fiancé - et pour toute une série de raisons complexes d'un point de vue émotionnel - Gemma décide d'aller de l'avant avec la cérémonie de mariage et de l'épouser malgré tout, mais elle doit d'abord surmonter l'opinion publique, la loi et même l'objection de sa propre famille.

I was on the fence with this movie for most of its runtime. I thought that they did a good job with the setup, but the middle of the movie really lost its way. I was prepared to write it off as just another middling indie movie, but the last few minutes of the movie really got me (especially the piece as the credits started to roll). Another good British movie I watched in 2024. This reminds me of the 80's to early 2000's when were movies were good. Yes, it is a MUST WATCH!
