Synopsis
Un avenir de jeune chef tendait les bras à Charlie. Pourtant sa vie semble s’être suspendue, habitant avec sa mère et son beau-père et travaillant dans le cinéma de son quartier, Charlie n’a plus de motivation pour rien. Il vit au travers de ses deux meilleurs amis, Ben et Heather, jusqu’au jour où il rencontre Amber et tombe amoureux. Mais Amber est déjà en couple et se prépare à déménager à New York. Alors que Charlie se décide à remettre de l’ordre dans sa vie et à se projeter dans le futur, son père, depuis longtemps parti, s’immisce dans sa vie…

Slight but offbeat film, this won't change your life in any way, but it passes the time amicably enough.

This was a surprisingly charming coming-of-age movie. For a while I thought that the leads may have been miscast because they felt a bit young and overly-cute. But as the film went on I realized that I was wrong about that, and I settled in to an enjoyable movie. This is an odd little coming of age movie. Freddie Highmore could have made this his audition piece for THE GOOD DOCTOR. I give this film a 6 (fair) out of 10. [Dramedy]. Available on Amazon Prime.
