I usually don't like swedish crime/dramas but this one is good and okay. I feel like swedish series lacks dept of script and actors that can't act. Here is kind of a mixture between actors that I recognize and some childhood acters. If someone comes from another country I recomend this still, if you have the patience of reading subtitles. And to people who will compare this to 13 reasons why, nooo this is so far from just angsty teens. While it still has the elements of suicide, drug abuse and mental illness the story doesn't really go deep into any of the three stated. It focuses more on Maja and her point of view. You will get confused in the beggining but she also is confused so it makes you still watch it, because it ties all together in the end. Just don't judge this because of 13 reasons why, I gave 13 reasons why a 2 hearts and this 7 cause you'll see why when you watch this!

I really liked this show. It teased the story and told everything from the main girls point of view and her descent into the realization of everything. It kept me interested to the end.

Série suédoise très intéressante, tant au niveau du sujet que sur la manière dont il est traité. En effet, le scénario, comme la mise en scène, sont originaux et tiennent le spectateur en haleine jusqu'au tout dernier moment. L'interprétation est vraiment très bonne également. À découvrir absolument !

Swedish courtroom drama with a school shooting as backstory. The fragmented timeline builds the case competently. Maja's psychology is more interesting than the legal mechanics. Solid without ambition beyond its premise.

Quicksand is based on MalinPersson Giolito's novel of the same name and is about a mass shooting at a school in Stockholm's most affluent suburb, whereupon an 18-year-old student is suspected of murder. However, much more terrible things are revealed in the subsequent investigations. Quicksand is the first Swedish Netflix production. "Quicksand" tells an interesting story that doesn't seem predictable or boring at all, for the whole series I asked myself what the case was here. Unfortunately, some actors cut a worse figure than others, but you can look past that. A really surprisingly good mini-series!
