I was a kid in Italy when the murder happened. I didn't follow the news much back then, but the press gave me the impression that she was guilty. Only years later, thanks to the Netflix documentary, I discovered the truth. I thought a scripted TV show about the case was unnecessary and probably not the best thing for the people involved. But I decided to watch it anyway and ended up enjoying a lot. Several scenes made me emotional — what happened to this young woman was truly horrible. I appreciated the attempt to humanize the prosecutor instead of simply portraying him as a monster. After the last trial finally set Amanda free, the show inevitably became less interesting though. Also, kudos for the casting team for selecting actors who — some more than others — resemble the people they play.

Not convinced. Poor Meredith's family having to endure this self obsessed drivel (again)

this entire show is frustrating to watch. after 3 episodes i stopped, because every character's actions are irritating. whether that's true to the source or not, idk and dont care, tbh.
