Anne Shirley es una niña huérfana que vive en un pequeño pueblo llamado Avonlea que pertenece a la Isla del Príncipe Eduardo, en el año 1890. Después de una infancia difícil, donde fue pasando de orfanato a hogares de acogida, es enviada por error a vivir con una solterona y su hermano. Cuando cumple 13 años, Anne va a conseguir transformar su vida y el pequeño pueblo donde vive gracias a su fuerte personalidad, intelecto e imaginación.

SPECTACULAR!!! Spot on casting, authentic setting, faithful to the original book, wonderful acting, moving and joy filled drama. CBC on Sunday nights. I give it a 9 (superb) out of 10, only because I should probably see 2 episodes before granting it the 10 that I very much anticipate it will deserve. I feel as superlative as Anne. YAY!
it's a crime that this show was cancelled... this is the best Green Gables adaptation
Definitely one of the bests shows I've watched in my entire life. All the characters are so specials and the emotions, _oh..._ I lost count of how many times I **cried**, smiled, loved. I'm really loving this show and hoping to see a season 2.
I came into this series not having read the book/s so it was all so very new and refreshing to me. And I liked that. I fell totally in love with Anne and Green Gables. I wallowed in every rise and fall (and rise again) of emotions I experienced while watching this series. Sometimes, we need a little touch of inspiration in the midst of a television era steeped in violence and hopeless situations. ♥ OH, but THAT ending, though~! I am going to cry if this series does not come back for a second season to resolve THAT!
We need season 4!! Cmon Netflix 🙏🙏
