If you liked the 1st series, don't bother watching this. It's terrible and it's just a lesbian side story.
This was basically Danmachi from Aiz's perspective. Only the last few episode were worth watching other than that most of the scenes felt like 'Slice of Life'. Don't compare this with the main series, you'll be disappointed. Overall, it was OKAY!
I found that this side story didn't build enough of its own story to stop me from just thinking about the main series and constantly just comparing to that. The first 4 episodes were pretty uninteresting because they were trying to setup a new character background but it felt more like it was half new story, half original story. There was at least some more plot and more swordplay in the latter two-thirds of the season. If you try to compare to the first series, this one just feels slightly off and unoriginal. But did it still have entertainment value? Yes, there were some interesting scenes, neat swordplay, and once they finally stopped repeating the original story, the story did get better.
I enjoyed this being a big fan of Danmachi, but I don't know that it would stand alone very well. The biggest problem with the show is the sometimes MC, Lefiya. She's borderline obnoxious with her obsession over Ais. When the story shifts to Ais, it's so much better and honestly feels like a relief to be free from Lefiya and her whininess. I would recommend it to anyone that was a fan of Danmachi season 1, to watch this in between seasons 1 and 2 if you are interested in learning more about Ais. It's definitely not necessary, especially since the main storyline seems to have put Ais's character development on the back burner.
Mmm i dont regret buying thise... that being said... i could have live without watching it.. i think there are about 4 episodes that are good the rest is just ok
