La serie se desarrolla en Wisteria Lane, zona residencial situada en la imaginaria ciudad de Fairview, Eagle State. Trata de las vidas de cinco amas de casa, a través de sus vidas domésticas a la vez que se revelan varios misterios acerca de sus maridos, amigos y vecinos. El tono y estilo de la serie combina elementos de drama, comedia, misterio, telenovelas y sátira. Los personajes han sido criticados por grupos religiosos por carencia moral.

This show was and still is the best show ever.

It’s just one of those shows that you can’t stop watching. I was skeptical when I started, but the plot twists and mini mysteries within each season kept me thoroughly engaged through alllll seasons. It’s fast paced and there isn’t really a moment when you’re bored.
In some way, I am very happy that the show ended. It really got bad in the last episodes. ... well, and the final episode: neighbour-ghosts. honestly? ^^
