John intenta conectarse con el alma de la persona que más busca, su madre, que murió dando a luz al protagonista, sin éxito. Cuando Liv, la hija de un amigo fallecido, se convierte en el blanco de los demonios, John interviene para salvarla, y juntos forman una alianza.

The main actor is so perfectly cast! The writing needs some work, but when it goes with Matt Ryan, the show is flawless. I hope it gets a S2, because it has potential when they let it be. Also the comics are great, so with that source, there is a lot to work with. The thing is that Ryan is 100% Hellblazer, but a lot of the show is more like early Supernatural.
Damn it. Maybe SyFy can pick it up.
I liked this show and it's a real shame that it ended. I was really curious about the cliffhanger from the final episode and the what and how about the coming darkness.. But alas... we'll never know :( Perfectly cast actors though.. They could not have picked a better person for John and they really copied his character from the comics. I have not read all of them but I did recognize some of the stories.. Anyway, a shame that it ended..
Terrible show, it won't last... Thing-of-the-week with an attempt at an underlying continuing plot are already overdone, viewers don't really want another one on the trash heap...
Matt’s acting was good, he created a nice character. The entire storyline as well as the script and directing were all weak. Not surprising that that they couldn’t continue into season 2.
