Ambientada en la isla de Prince Edward a finales del siglo XIX, narra la historia de Anne, una niña huérfana de once años que viaja desde el orfanato donde reside hasta la granja de "Tejas Verdes". Allí una pareja de hermanos, ambos mayores, la esperan para adoptarla. Al llegar, la niña descubre que todo ha sido un error porque los Cuthbert esperaban en realidad adoptar un muchacho que pudiera ayudarles a llevar la granja.

I loved. it was really cute. I imagined it would be longer, with it being a series, but it was around about the length of a long movie at around three hours of watch time. Compared to the 2017 series which I never got around to finishing, this one of course moved a lot faster, but it was also a lot slower and more 'slice of life'. The acting of Megan the girl who played anne was great and this was all up an amazing little show. Anne's romance with Gilbert was a little understated, but it was really just par of the course with how they had to fit the entire book in that little length of time. I would have liked to see a few more scenes between the two. Loved it though!
