2005 Sci-fi-fest reviews: Surface 9*: I really liked this show! Great cast and a good story. Only 15 episodes so it didn’t feel like it was dragging on much. They keep the story tight and moving forward. The season ending was satisfying and it left a lot to the imagination on where a season 2 could go. Invasion 7*: also a decent show with a great cast and a promising story. It was way too long though resulting in whole episodes that veer away from the main story line. I didn’t really feel a sense on where a season 2 would go so the ending was not that satisfying. I think it might have been better to make it a miniseries. Threshold 6*: also a decent show with a great cast and a promising story. I wanted to like this show more but they went the procedural route (solve a problem every week) instead of doing the big story arc. As a result a number of episodes were kind of boring and didn’t lend much to the story. Way too much time spent on the food!

My favourite show. I liked it very much. Too shame they cancelled it. I was looking fir season 2 and nothing nowhere to be found. Years later I found out they cancelled it. No idea why. It was great. Great story, great characters. Same goes for invasion (2005) i remember it was hit back in the days when they run it on tv usually evening about 22:40 or something. I saw a few episodes but that time I was not attached. Many years after I saw it all and hell it was really good way better than that shit from apple invasion (2021) I am still suprised its not cancelled yet. Its so boring. But anyway invasion from 2005 also let me down and dissapointed me. Last episode was such a cliffhanger and after that they killed it. Such tragedy. Great cast, actors and actresses, love them. It was not tedious. In my books it had such a potential. But guess what someone had to ruin it.
