Sinopsis

Todos los 65 episodios fueron escritos por Ray Bradbury y muchos se basaron en cuentos o novelas que había escrito, incluyendo "A Sound of Thunder", "Marionettes, Inc.", "Banshee", "The Playground", "Mars is Heaven" , "Usher II", "The Jar", "The Long Rain", "The Veldt", "The Small Assassin", "The Pedestrian", "The Fruit at the Bottom of the Bowl," Here There Be Tygers ", "El Toynbee Convector", y "Sun and Shadow". "¡Gotcha!"

Ray Bradbury is a treasure chest for American literature and this show brought him to the masses. The best stories combine humor with dark deeds like the murder story in "The Fruit at the Bottom of the Bowl". Other favorite episodes are the ones where Bradbury write about things that concerns himself like censorship and career death or his science fiction crime stories. Beloved genre actors help out making this show enjoyable. Strangely it seem that the series were hard to finance which make some of the high concept stories look cheap when the stories would have needed the best budget to really work. It can also be hard to remember that most of his stories were written during the 1950s and one have to remember this in context with when they made this series. In the end this ended up as a big hit-and-miss show for me.

Plenty of meh episodes. Scifi mixed with fantasy based episodes, the problem is the synopsis is often cooler than how the episode plays out. Lots of cameos of high-profile actors today. Of what I've watched, 5/10 is generous.

As a teenager in the late 70s, I was captivated by Bradbury's stories and novels, which were largely written in the 40s, 50s and 60s. However, Bradbury's stories and writing style don't always translate well to the screen, and it is true with this series as well. Some episode fair better than others. Shows of this genre made in the 80s haven't aged well, but during the 80s this was a fairly well done show.

Few good, few decent. few bad and a lot of meh episodes. A lot feel like they were the first idea Bradbury had, and did not develop them at all afterward. Like he asked him self "What if xyz?" but never came up with an answer.

I remember anthology series being a thing back then. I watched some of them. Although it says Ray Bradbury in the title it feels much more than the Stephen King Theater mostly. I thought Bradbury was a sci-fi writer - probably my mistake. Production is low budget and the stories are really hit and miss. And if they miss they do so on a grand scale. A lot of times I wonder just wtf I just watched. What was the sense? From what I've seen so far I'd say that hardly 2 out of 10 episodes are worth the time. The one thing, I should say the only thing, I really got out of this show was seeing all those well known actors. You recognize a lot of them, some being legit superstars. I'll rate what I've seen a 3 not because it`s bad, I am sure there are people who like this, but it reflects the avarage rating of the episodes I have seen. Don't know if I'll finish this.
