Frieren is not bound by spectacles but the profound small moments that sparks a lifelong memory. The moment when Stark shows Fern the etiquette training and takes her hand, the small moment meant a big eureka for me personally. The things that are left unsaid and the regret that you live after your loved ones are gone is only understood by people who have gone through it. Might be the best portrayal of loss we have seen in an anime.
