She casted Levitate on the damn horse, instead of the wagon.
This show just keeps giving and giving. A lot of them, like the most recent one, feel like mini-movies (some of them really are). After 20 minutes I feel like I've been watching for over an hour and am not the least bit bored.

Episode 14, Privilege of the Young, stands out not as a highlight but as a misstep in an otherwise contemplative and emotionally rich series. For viewers expecting the usual blend of melancholy, reflection, and subtle character growth, this chapter feels like a betrayal of tone and purpose, worthy of the lowest possible score. The central conflict, Stark forgetting Fern’s birthday gift, lands with a thud. In a story that thrives on exploring mortality, memory, and the weight of time, reducing the drama to a trivial spat strips away the series’ thematic resonance. What should have been a moment of quiet insight into youth and relationships instead devolves into shallow banter, dragging the pacing into filler territory. The introduction of Sein, meant to refresh the party dynamic, is equally uninspired. His integration lacks tension or meaningful impact, leaving him as little more than a background figure. Compared to earlier episodes that balanced action, emotion, and existential reflection, this installment feels padded, repetitive, and narratively hollow. Ultimately, Privilege of the Young is a tonal misfire. It abandons the series’ strengths in favor of a lightweight subplot that neither advances the journey nor deepens the characters. For those who cherish Frieren’s meditative beauty, this episode is not just disappointing, it’s frustratingly irrelevant. A 1/10 reflects that sense of wasted potential: a chapter that could have been skipped without consequence.
