Très bonne surprise ! COPYCAT KILLER est un thriller taïwanais de 2023 dont l'intrigue se déroule en 1997. La mise en scène, plutôt bonne, restitue bien l'époque. Le casting est parfait, Chris WU en particulier, qui interprète le personnage principal du procureur chargé de l'enquête. Son jeu est sobre et juste, tranchant avec son partenaire Jack YAO qui, si il est parfaitement à sa place dans son rôle, a tendance à surjouer quelque peu par moment. Globalement, la série est intéressante, nous réservant quelques surprises et ce jusqu'au dénouement. À découvrir !

Copycat Killer - ❤x7 I enjoyed this show. It is a very good, solid murder mystery. There's no big action or special effects, it's just a good story, well told. It is bit of an insight into the methods of similar jobs we know as well as a more in depth cultural look at Taiwan. I can absolutely recommend this show. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!

I don't think the point of the show was to give our deductive skills a workout. Especially for those who've read the novel. What I took away from it was that it really highlighted the unfair portrayal of female victims in the media, which unfortunately still happens today. It also touched on the importance of embracing our differences and being aware of how easily we can be influenced by what we see in the news. That being said, I liked it enough to finish it. If you're looking for a heart-pounding thriller, this might not be it. But if you're in the mood for a visually stunning and engaging production, then I say go for it!
