Sinopsis
50 años antes de Cristo, César continúa el avance de su conquista por todo el mundo. Liderando sus gloriosas y potentes legiones del ejército romano, decide invadir una isla situada a las afueras de la tierra, un misterioso país llamado Britannia. En esta historia Astérix y Obélix atravesarán el Canal de la Mancha, que une Francia con las islas británicas, con el fin de echar una mano a su pueblo amigo y salvar a sus ciudadanos del acoso de las milicias romanas.

Loved it .. the way they portrayed the English was funny (the accent etc) + love it how they use things from other popular films ^^

At this point in the saga the exhaustion started to show. The idea of taking Asterix and Obelix to Britain could have exploited cultural clash humor, but the jokes about British people stay at the most obvious and repetitive level. The change of actors doesn't help connect with the characters, and the story moves forward without much interest. There are some moments that work, but they're the minority. Most of the runtime feels like filler. Of the live-action Asterix movies, this is one of the most dispensable.
