God-like good guy is not Ok with how bad the bad guys are and avenges the widows and orphans all by himself. The usual bad acting and unimpressive martial arts make it a typical Stephan Seagal movie ... of the worst kind. Oh, yes: This was the first movie directed by Steven himself. Sad when he does not get what made some of his previous movies acceptable. It was not his lack of adding more of himself!
One of the last Steven Seagal movies worth pushing play on..watch his first 6 flicks and Skip the rest
Yeah, what should i say about this. I started watching a Seagal movie list and this one came up in line. Can't say i did not enjoy it but for now this is one of my least favorite films. Yes it has a lot of action, explosions and some good actors in it but it just wasn't all that much(for me). let's see what Under Siege 2 has to offer
In all fairness, I should probably watch this one again to give it a more well-rounded review. Sadly, what I do remember about this is that it was *completely** unremarkable and didn't seem like a Steven Seagal movie at all. Seemed more like a political statement/documentary with a couple of fight scenes thrown in. Steven Seagal as a veterinarian... Judge for yourself. If I can bring myself to watch it again, I'll come back with a more in-depth review but this was (to my recollection) the first Steven Seagal movie that I just flatly did not enjoy. At all.
Please have a look at my favourite scene of this movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SIm4fwdROo It was made 20 years ago! It's the truth, THE SHOCKING TRUTH - which sadly still holds true today!
