Never expected this one to be so good. Thoroughly enjoyed ⚡🏿
Every bit as vacant as it’s predecessor. Most of the characters are so shallow and emotionless that their deaths yield little to no impact. There is one bright spot, that being Kano (Josh Lawson.) When he’s on screen you’re in for soiled laughs. Would Not Recommend
After the last Mortal Kombat I genuinely expected this to be so much better but the last one was genuinely better. Sadly the characters felt weak and the cgi felt cheap for something of this caliber. A lot laughs but the action just wasn't done right, didn't do justice to Mortal Kombat.
Bad story and corny dialogue are one thing, but it's pretty baffling how a franchise built entirely on the concept of cool fights in a tournament can repeatedly fail at both. It's impossible to care about the stakes when characters can randomly teleport, use magic, or rewrite the win conditions on the fly. The fights were just as bad - a weightless digital mess with zero cinematic flair.
