Never expected this one to be so good. Thoroughly enjoyed ⚡🏿
Every bit as vacant as it’s predecessor. Most of the characters are so shallow and emotionless that their deaths yield little to no impact. There is one bright spot, that being Kano (Josh Lawson.) When he’s on screen you’re in for soiled laughs. Would Not Recommend
After the last Mortal Kombat I genuinely expected this to be so much better but the last one was genuinely better. Sadly the characters felt weak and the cgi felt cheap for something of this caliber. A lot laughs but the action just wasn't done right, didn't do justice to Mortal Kombat.
For me, this was dissapointing. I read a lot of good comments, saying that it was great, that Adeline Rudolph and Karl Urban knock it out of the park, and so much more...but tbh, it was more terrible than good: acting is horrendous from everyone. Fights are badly coregraphed and SLOW. I mean, they should do the kind of speed a John Wick or Donnie Yen movie has. But almost every fight was like fighting in slow motion. The only good point in favor, is that they portrayed the abilities very faithfully (Shao Khan's green energy slams, Sonya's sonic rays, etc). Beyond that, it was pretty bad. Sadly, for me, is only a 4
