Sometimes shoe specialist end like Al Bundy with famous Peggy and sometimes they just became Iron Man who knows Spider-man's aunt... ;)

This is a competent rom-com fashioned from the same clothes as **Moonstruck**, but with far less finesse and focus and a lot more cheese. The leads **Marisa Tomei** and **Robert Downey Jr.** are overshadowed by very underrated pairing of **Bonnie Hunt** and **Joaquim de Almeida**. Italy as the backdrop is cliched but as inspired as **Roman Holiday**. Above all, the film is a compilation of music videos of old romantic songs and fabulous score by **Rachel Portman**.

I love this movie. Mariska Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. are so young. And so beautiful. Such a romantic movie by Norman Jewishon. And I cant help but think of their later meet in the marvel universe as Tony Stark and Peter's Anut May. Beautiful movie

A bit middling, but it managed to be mostly enjoyable with its twists and turns and goofy over-exaggeration of stereotypes found in the genres it plays out. Could have been a bit shorter though.
