Gains an extra point because Diane Keaton is in it but otherwise, this is incredibly bland and boring. It very nearly sucked the life out of me.
I've reviewed over 900 movies and I probably did not make it to the end for less than 10 of them. Well, add one to the list (I was able to get through 70 minutes only because I was stuck on the treadmill and didn't want to get off). What a steaming pile of dung this 'film' is. I watch a lot of indie movies and I know that they are a mixed bag. I hate piling on someone else's art but how the hell can you have two of the greatest actors of all time in your movie and give them absolute crap for lines. This film was just one cliché after another (as if having a scorned wedding planner as the central story wasn't enough of a warning). And the bad Russian accents (and the actors going in and out of them) - oh so painful. Diane Keaton was on screen for maybe 15 minutes and for every single one of those minutes there was a joke about her being blind (and two embarrassingly bad scenes where she tripped over something). This is what you do with freaking Diane Keaton? I heard the director do an interview on a radio show (one of the hosts had a cameo in the movie) where he said that critics suck because they don't get his movies. Well Dennis, maybe after 20 or 30 awful reviews it might be time to second guess that position. I think the proof is in the pudding - when you have a music bed running from start to finish in your movie or tv show that's a sign that you don't have any confidence in your work. The only redeeming quality in this movie were the street singers that interrupted the cliché parade. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadmovies (like this one)
