After seeing Charles Band's name I expected tacky, fun but forgettable horror. This was better than his usual. Seems to be a bit like a Stephen King story at first, down to the 1950s looking bully. It reminded me of other movies a lot. Even Robocop. However, this movie is still very original. Some of the character performances are perfect. It's fun. Don't forget to watch till after the credits.
