Sinopsis
En Bangkok, Julian, un fugitivo de la justicia estadounidense, dirige un club de boxeo tailandés que actúa como tapadera para su tráfico de estupefacientes. Su madre, jefe de una amplia organización criminal, desembarca procedente de Estados Unidos para repatriar el cuerpo de su hijo favorito, Billy: el hermano de Julian ha sido asesinado tras haber masacrado salvajemente a una joven prostituta. Llena de odio y venganza, exige a Julian la cabeza de los asesinos. Julian deberán entonces enfrentarse a Chang, un extraño policía jubilado, adulado por los demás policías.

I really liked this movie. Similar to TRON: Legacy, I view it more as a work of art rather than focusing on the plot. The music and lighting just visually appeal to me and it has left me with a lasting impression.

This exists in my head cannon as a prequel to Drive (2011). A beautiful hour and thirty minute long painting I just wanted to swim in. I completely understand this movie flaws at being… a movie. The story is garbage and motivations are out the window in this one. However, for what I wanted in a movie, this gave it all. Give me a day, and I’ll join everyone else in abhorring this movie.
