For horror fans this film is practically a copy and paste of many clichés of the genre in question. Nothing fresh, nothing to say. Even the regional component has been lost because poorly explored, it could have been set in New York and it would have had the same effect. At least there was good photography and a decent cast.

This movie was so much better than I expected it to be! It may have taken awhile for the story to unfold but it was worth it. So many subtle clues that lent to the overall creepiness of the movie. A definite recommend!!

An experience of terror that for my taste has its best defense is the representation of the superstitions and myths of deep Italy. The representation of the sinister side of Italian tradition is brutal. Something very noteworthy is some of the twists and turns that give life to this story in the film.

A good movie. Simple special effects, simple performances, but a good story. The film has everything we like: distant places, secrets, pagan rituals, dogs barking to the afterlife ... I liked it.
