There are few movies that manage to convey the brutal sense of desperation as this one does. The pace is intense, reinforced by frenetic, extremely immersive images and split-screen scenes showing simultaneous moments in different places, it's even anxiety-provoking. The story is simple and well-structured, there are some impactful twists and turns, and the performances are as intense as the movie itself, everything is very raw, realistic, uncomfortable and extreme.
