Sinopsis

A renewed interest in the English monarch has been triggered by _The Crown_ on Netflix. I'm just not sure this movie was worth my time. It takes a lot of liberties with actual history. It definitely makes the religious war of post Henry VIII rule look like only the Catholics were crazy. The best part of the movie is future James Bond Daniel Craig playing an assassin priest. Quite the foreshadowing.

I love period pieces, but this one is not one of my favorites. Pacing feels slow and off the entire movie to me, shots filmed are weird. I'll just watch other period pieces.
