Imagine having to endure Cobie Smulders (one of the worst contemporary "actors"), Ben Schwartz, AND Alia Shawkat in the same movie. That would be pure torture. Hard pass
This movie wasn't a bad flick in the traditional sense of the word, the acting was perfect and the story itself was realistic and played out in a believable way, but there are so many unlikable characters in this lot it's sort of hard to get behind it. There are 4 couples in this movie, the one that they're trying to divorce fought a little but honestly every other couple had just as many problems, which is the point and why I didn't just rate it 1 or 2 stars. I like that the movie twisted to giving the other character an intervention by the end, since she was delusional and causing trouble, however this only took place in the final act of the movie and was so quickly forgiven that it left a bad taste in my mouth. Not a bad movie, but not one I'd watch again, and definitely one I'd avoid if you're having issues in your current relationship.
Very enjoyable relationship drama with a humorous touch.
