Once you attune yourself to screenwriter Daniel Clowes sense of humour (check out the graphic novel), you will enjoy this offbeat, occasionally very funny comedy a whole lot more. *Fun fact: The film was originally going to be called 'Harrellson' with Owen Wilson in the lead, but a mixup in the Hollywood mailroom led to this film. I'm glad it did because Woody was great. *Not a real fact, sorry.

I am a sucker for all things Woody Harrelson and this is surely one of his oddest roles. It feels like a journey that rolls from one extreme to the next. People will either buy in, or they won't. It is often uncomfortable, but oddly charming? I dug it quite a bit, even if it is extremely odd. Rating: 3/5 - 75% - Worth Watching

If this is an acquired taste - then I don't appreciate it. Some really good quality people in this movie, but none of them played to their strengths.
