A fast journey through ones life, small to big.. really makes you think how quick life really passes by.. followed with all emotions, mostly laughter.. had me hooked from the start, Robin's films always do, because he's an amazing actor... and sure shows you up in this film. Now just lives on in his films, and memories....
As with us all, our lives incorporate sadness, happiness, joy and tragedy. This film encapsulates the life of Garp and we are taken on an emotional journey which may resonate with us all in theme and scope. Simply wonderful, funny and sad.
I accidentally saw this movie when I was young.
The scene with Garp’s wife and her young lover in the car has haunted me for years!
Fire movie, down bad for a jacked up ending though, i could understand his mom getting whacked even the wannabe governor but Garp aint deserve that L from that hivemind nutcase who cut her tongue out she destroyed the vibe
A pretentious extended version of the Solomon Grundy nursery rhyme with feminist facade. At the beginning and for perhaps the first half hour, I was curious about how it would unfold then it all went downhill. I cannot get that time back and I'm a little mad at myself now for having this movie on my "to watch" list for so long. Damn you Robin! 😪
