Sinopsis
Recién escapado de la cárcel, la necesidad de encontrar un lugar donde esconderse le lleva al presidiario fugitivo Michael Bosworth a usar su encanto para lograr entrar en el elegante hogar de Nora y Tim Cornell y sus dos hijos. Mientras espera la llegada de su atractiva cómplice y abogada, la agradable sonrisa de Bosworth acabará transformándose en una furia homicidia cuando los Cornell le intentan plantar cara.

I saw this on VHS some time in the 90’s but it’s only today I have realized it was directed by Michael Cimino, And i find him a little underrated. I like a lot of his films. I assume it’s loosely based on the William Wyler film of the same name as the plot is very similar if my memory is correct. This one though is meh. Entertaining in the moment but not amounting to much. It’s not very ambitious and is pretty much just a popcorn movie.

This movie is not good. I've never seen the original so I'm not coming at this from the "they can't touch the Bogart one." It's just....boring. It drags. Also, some of the most unnecessary, from left field, nudity ever, like 3 times! I feel for Kelly Lynch having to do it.
