Pretty good movie. Nice camera work and editing too.
A very cool idea and solid performances by Jodie Foster and Forest Whitaker are ruined by some big holes in the plot. Unfortunately not very believable and therefore only a mediocre thriller.
>"How do you live in New York and not have a single percocet?" Ok, I have almost watched every Finch movie (sorry Mank, it will be a while before I consider watching you) and he always seems to captivate me with his shots, script and color grading. This is not your typical house invasion and Jodie Foster is portrayed so well in this.
I really enjoyed this movie when it first came out and it still holds up
A simple concept executed well. David Fincher makes this work and keeps you entertained the whole time. A lot of surprising twists. The way the camera moves throughout the house is amazing. It really gives us a feel for the house and makes us claustrophobic. The ending could of been a little better.
