One of my favourite films as a child. It's an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish but lets hope and positivity into the world.
I absolutely adored this movie as a kid. I don't even know where I watched it first, it just feels as though I've always known it. I can imagine I originally watched it because it had princess in the title, but my god that was the best thing I ever did. This movie really does strike a perfect balance between being depressing and uplifting and as someone whos always been a fan of a little angst and unfair situations for characters to overcome, this one got me good. The main character and her situation reminds me of a mix between cinderella and anne of green gables. This movie is really such a gem.
Grew up on this magical story of kindness. Like the kids POV. Sara was adorable and looked the part but felt a little flat on rewatch.
