This film got progressively worse as it went. At first, it seemed a reasonable biography of Bob Crane, but it became this stilted mess in the last quarter of the film. And, worst of all, it never held Crane accountable for his abuses of women. He went through his life using and abusing women, and this film wrote it off as 'say la vie!' Also, the ending of the film made no sense. [spoiler]The storytelling made it seem that John Carpenter had no real reason to murder Crane, and it appeared that they'd clearly left important parts of their time together out of the film.[/spoiler] The way it was told here never connected any dots.
