Bad, bad, bad. Very bad. It’s the kind of film that seems to want to tackle a delicate and timely subject, but ends up as a clumsy mix of thriller, workplace drama, and a preachy final message. For a while it looks as if something interesting might come out of it, because the premise has some pull and the initial uncertainty works, but it falls apart very quickly. The biggest problem is that it has no pulse. The story moves as if dragging its feet, repeating situations, stretching conflicts, and circling around an idea it doesn’t know how to develop. Instead of creating tension or unease, it just becomes tiring. And when a film like this can’t even sustain intrigue, it is basically dead. It also doesn’t help that the characters are so poorly built. They never really feel like people, just pieces of the script arranged to push the next twist forward. The professional conflict, the marriage crisis, and the investigation all lack the force needed to make you care. Everything feels far more artificial than it should. Worst of all, it seems to want to say important things about power, abuse, social judgment, and queer relationships, but it does so in a very shallow way and, at times, an outright silly one. Instead of going deeper, it simplifies. Instead of unsettling, it lectures. In the end, it lands in a kind of nowhere zone: neither a solid thriller, nor a convincing human drama, nor a serious reflection on anything. The lead actress tries to hold it together, and there are moments when you can glimpse the film it might have been if it had a much stronger script. But that is not enough. Everything around her is so weak, so mechanical, and so uninspired that not even a strong screen presence can save it. Overall, it felt like a mess. A film without tension, without soul, and without the intelligence it needed to handle a subject like this. I didn’t like it at all, and I really don’t understand why some people rate it positively.

The film began on a promising note, drawing me in with its strong opening. Unfortunately, it quickly lost momentum due to a very weak script that left me questioning why I had invested my time in it. The climax, in particular, was deeply disappointing and felt like the weakest part of an already fragile narrative. Konkona, as always, delivers a compelling performance and portrays genuine human emotions with effortless grace. However, her continued selection of underwhelming scripts does little justice to her undeniable talent.

I am kinda disappointed. Maybe expected too much. The movie starts off strong, showed the intense and cruel side of humans, everything was going well but then it just diverts from its theme. It's not bad but also nothing to remember here. From assault and gender equality to relationship issues, it tells you how honesty and trust is important in a relationship, but the movie wasn't meant to be about that. The actors did so well but the script didn't back them.
