Like a housewife on Valium: prim, proper and slow. This Saltburn on downers (they missed the chance to call this Slowburn) is the story of a well-off Chinese family that welcomes their son's deprived friend into their household. The film boasts effective cinematography that tells the story better than the dialog and more poignantly than the anti climax.
