Sinopsis
CBGB es una película que se centra en la figura de Hilly Kristal, el dueño y propietario del famoso club llamado "CBGB", ubicado en el Lower East Side de Manhattan (Nueva York). Este local fue el mayor punto de referencia para grandes músicos y bandas de rock, que vieron en él una oportunidad para dar sus primeros pasos hacia el éxito. Para grupos como Blondie, Ramones, Living Colour o Talking Heads, fue su primer escenario.

Not knowing much about the club CGBG, I went into this with reasonably low expectations. But while this is mainly a puff piece about what I now understand is a rather iconic place in the annals of punk rock, it is still an entertaining film and better than I expected. Good to see Rickman too, tho sad that his role as Hilly Kristal (club founder) was one of his last.
