What in the world did i just watch? Some movies feel like an exploitation of the directors fetishes. If it's not too creepy and makes sense, I let it pass. If it makes me go through mitosis and makes no sense at all, then there's no excuse. Kelly Rowland turned into a mannequin, and every other actor seemed to be either extremely under acting or very much over acting. The whole plot, if that's what you call it, was terrible. The characters are even worse but nothing as bad as the screenplay of the terribly acted out acting by actors who are acting in a movie with a terrible plot terribly directed and poorly produced by Tyler Perry and Netflix whom are equally washed out.

What a mess! At first I was intrigued to find out why the husband and mother-in-law were acting so weirdly. But, after a couple of scenes with the client, it became quite clear that they were not acting weirdly: they, like everyone in this movie, were just written incredibly badly. To be fair, this movie should have won an Oscar for its fantastic portrayal of a completely non-human species with alien mores and social interactions, and only a superficial resemblance to humans.

one word: meh. I keep watching Tyler Perry's thrillers well aware that I will be able to guess the plot 5 minutes in, and this one did not disappoint... in that aspect. the writing is very bad, the actors kinda do what they can but the lines are for the most part flat and we face random plot twists that add nothing but length into the movie. everyone has affairs with everyone, there is a explicit sex scene ( we see buttocks moaning and lots of hip swerving). and everyone - but Mea - is kinda cartoonish evil and there Is a weird conspiracy with a very weak backstory. a Tyler Perry thriller trhough and through. I would skip.

Based on this movie alone, I’ll say Tyler Perry is what is wrong with this world 😪
