One of those low key films that you go into not knowing much about and it turns out to be fantastic. Great direction, great cinematography, great acting.
Of course they had to make a comparison of jan 6 with events like the OKC bombing, which killed 168 people, including many children. So completely out of touch. Other than that a pretty good movie with some very satisfying scenes, and the "baddies" aren't the cliche'd incompetent or stupid kind like you usually see in these types of films
I honestly do not understand, how this movie gets it's 73%. The screenplay makes no sense, acting is fair at best and how the story is presented is really poor and anything but exciting.
There’s something off about this movie but it was too boring to keep me captivated long enough to figure out what. They put a big ole stach and some gum in Judey-boy’s mouth but that’s not enough to make him feel like a Yank. If they were trying to prove a point that folks could not shoot back then they certainly did. Holly cow they could not hit each other with full mags at 5 yards. Ok so the score also bites with all kinds of weird sounds like breathing or whirring. Oh and they use the whisper voice. Gosh darn or they are screaming or they are whispering the whole time. Jude goes into the burning house at the end - a particularly ridiculous scene. The plot is nonsense and they did totally glorify the racist pshyco dude way too much. He and Jude were besties by the end lol. The very last scene… a fade to black… will Jude take the shot… how profound!
aggressively distracted by this movie being filmed in my home town 😭😭😭
