Sinopsis
Debido a una serie de fatales coincidencias, dos jóvenes neoyorkinos, que viajaban al sur del país, son tomados por asesinos. Como no pueden pagar los honorarios de un buen abogado, deciden llamar al primo de uno de ellos, que es un abogado sin experiencia. En estas circunstancias, se prevé que el resultado del juicio puede ser verdaderamente desastroso.

the movie is 30 years old now and I'm just seeing it for the first time. And honestly it was fantastic. Movies in the 80s and 90s were just DIFFERENT. It's a really fresh watch compared to most of the media junk today. The movie is written in a simple setting very down to earth, but that's the best part. It's entertaining, it's intuitive, and it's great to watch underdogs overturn the stage.

You'd be hard pressed to find a comedy that runs its simple premise so well, or is so thoroughly entertaining in the process. The cast is superb, specifically the dynamic between Fred Gwynne, Joe Pesci, and Marissa Tomei is something that never ceases to bring a smile to my face whenever I think about it. Just the lines concerning "grits" could be used to teach a class on comedic writing.
