idk what I really think about this movie the one thing I really found weird is more or less none of them had a knife nor a pistol on them it a war, and you get trained always to bear firearms so that just one thing I find really lagging,
Horrendous sequel to the original. A group of troopers get caught in a bug planet and take refuge in an abandoned fort. They call for evacuation. In the meantime, the bugs have a plan: they have invaded the brains of a couple of troopers, and begin to spread into the brains of the remaining troopers. Their plan is to be brought to Earth inside the body of a general and thus start the takeover of Earth. But their plan is discovered by 3 troopers, and they end up saving the day by killing everyone. One soldier makes it to Earth to inform command of the new kind of bug that can take over people. Whereas the original was a smart action thriller that glorified soldiers and their sacrifice while satirizing army command, this sequel is a strictly a horror redo of the Body Snatchers in a military context. And it is the worse for it.
tv movie quality. all takes place trapped in cheap dark bunker. all dark/night scenes. is aliens horror infected movie
Nothing to do with the brilliant initial movie. They left aside all that made the first one brilliant and kept what does not work without the brilliant part. Just a bad movie.
I didn't think it was awful. Just a cheap space horror movie. Had nothing to with Starship Troopers, but if they had just called it "Killer Space Bugs" or whatever nobody would have ever watched it.
