Be advised that like most 'horror movies' by Shudder, this one isn't a horror movie but rather a trashy horror comedy. It's not supposed to be taken seriously. (At least I hope so.)

It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. The sex distracted from the story, and not in a good way. The Lovecraftian angle was nice but not used enough, and the ritual was way too fast, with the rules not being explained. I always liked Heather Graham, and she was the reason I watched this movie. She did the best she could with what was given to her, which wasn't very much. Her acting was actually not bad, and she looks, in my eyes, still stunning. Unfortunately, the wrongdoings of this film are so many that I can only say skip it. It's only worth a watch for die-hard Lovecraft or Heather Graham fans.

I am thinking this must be a comedic horror as there's nothing remotely scary or inventive with this one. It's an OK watch but found myself wishing for the end to speed up somewhat.

More ham and cheese than a carbonara, Suitable Flesh is overtly campy and almost aggressive in it's attempt to ape the lower budget horrors of the 70's and 80's. Not my sort of thing, but for people who enjoy their horror more on the Chopping Mall side of things, I think you'll be right at home here.
