It feels like this was written by the horniest virgin with the most elementary understanding of women. It seems as though whoever directed this definitely went to film school, learned how to film a movie and then sort of breezes through the parts where you learn to develop characters and their relationships. It portrays itself as an absurdist comedy at times with in-depth analysis of the differences between men and women and on the eternal struggle of having to cope with those differences on a societal level. But then it bulldozes through as if sexism and misogyny had ended somewhere in the middle of watching this movie and we all just never got the memo. To be honest, I wouldn’t care about the lack of political correctness in the movie, if it didn’t feel like the director was trying to make a “groundbreaking” statement.... we should all just be humanists. Lmao. The actors really did save the movie from becoming completely unbearable.
Actually, enough with the anti-feminist bullshit.
It's funny. @ the least nice boobies and beautiful young ladies especially Emmanuelle/Patty 😉
_100 Girls- is fun, not too serious take on the struggles men and women have getting past their individual hangups in a relationship. Our protagonist Matt searches the entire movie for his love that he had hooked up with during a power outage in an elevator. I really liked Matts witty narration as the movie went on, kind of like Randal in Clerks. You get a chance to see Jaime Pressly and Katherine Heigl before theirs stars had begun to shine too. Also of note is Patty (Emmanuelle Chriqui) who plays the love interest in _Zohan_. Take this movie for what it is -- fun if you can deal with the sexism, feminism, and chauvinism themes throughout.
Typical early 2000s teen comedy that tried to ride the American Pie wave but without the charm. What they tried to sell back then as a romantic gesture looks creepy today. The line between romance and harassment isn't just thin—the protagonist jumps rope with it... It's barely saved by the anthropological curiosity of seeing familiar actors' faces before they were famous, but the script is full of holes and the humor is pretty stale. It drags on and the final message has aged terribly. Basically, a guide on what NOT to do if you like someone.
