And that, my people, is what you call a perfect chill sunny quirky procedural introduction with the right amount of sexiness and anti-heroism. Nothing exceptionnal about it, no early pretentious storyline, but done right. Think Magnum PI or The Finder, it might go on to become a sort of Veronica Mars type of deal but I wouldn't bet on it. No clear duo to turn it into Bones either, but enough entourage to keep it fresh and interesting. Curious where it's going, yet absolutely fine with it going absolutely nowhere. If you're not turned on after reading this it's not for you, please lower your expectations. The only part missing is the "special" gift to enter the Mentalist, Castle or Lucifer sort of over the top vibe, but Rizzoli & Isles didn't really need it so my hopes are up. I should say I'm writing this after the first episode, should it disappoint early on I'll make amends. A guy can only hope
Actually I think its design kinda like elementary.
Didn't expect this to like it. It doesn't take itself too seriously. It's cozy, good for a Sunday watch
