Season 1 review (7/10): The police cases were ok. If you want to watch a show about firefighters or paramedics, Chicago Fire, Station 19 and both versions of 911 have better plot lines and cases (or at the very least, less hole-y ones). In any case, this show was, primarily, about the investigative aspects of the police cases. The Firefighter and Paramedic had more of a sidekick role imo. My favorite character was the forensic pathologist. Season 2 (7.5/10): I liked the cases better this season, or at least I wasn't as irrationally angry by the characters making asinine decisions for the sake of the plot. Also, I think the forensic team had a bigger role, and as my favorite character remains the forensic pathologist lady, that was much appreciated. This is still more of a police show than anything else.

damn the cliffhanger at the end of season1 !! thoroughly enjoyed the fast paced detective work here shows the cops working on clock to resolve incidents along with first responders ( firefighters and ambulance) . becuase there is a swift resolution on cases and the fact that the cops are not incompetent makes this show more entertaining than other cop shows which chase 1 serial killer for 24 episodes missing clues at every twist !!
