Everything about college student Amamiya Yuuhi is average: grades, looks and his blasé outlook on life. So what happens when he awakens one day to a talking lizard, who informs him that there is a gigantic hammer in outer space, poised to split the Earth into pieces, and requests his allegiance in the fight against the forces of evil? Other than the time-skip of the last episode, rest of the anime was a mistake.
The only decent thing was the epilogue
I enjoyed watching this anime, especially the last few episodes which touched me, but I have to say that this anime doesn't make any sense. Even if we understand some things towards the end, there are still so many unanswered questions like: [spoiler]Who are Anima and Animus?[/spoiler] [spoiler]Why do Anima and Animus have powers?[/spoiler] [spoiler]Why did they do all this?[/spoiler] [spoiler]Why did Animus agree to play Anima's game?[/spoiler] and so many others... I really feel that there's a lot of missing information and that the story has been rushed. It's a real shame because the characters are interesting and the story carries us through to the end, but the lack of logic and meaning made the whole thing a bit bland for me. But despite this, I still enjoyed the show, and I think the ending is worthwhile, even if I still have a lot of unanswered questions.
