This was a great show overall but the fast pacing made it a bit of a letdown. They tried to squeeze such a vast plot in 12 episodes that most of the characters and their background story felt like out of place. However this anime does have a proper closure to the entire plot which most of the "Original" anime(s) I've watched don't have.
This was such a good sports anime, and I'm glad I watched it this season. It had interesting character, solid character development and relationship, a well executed story, and beautiful music and animation to top it all off. It's definitely a show I'd recommend others to watch.
Not doing anything incredible original in the sports space, but I think it was well-made and well-executed. I really liked the business aspects that served as a mirror space to explore character relationships in, but they more or less went away for the back half of the show that turned into Adult League Badminton Tournament.
