It appears I fall in love with JTBC dramas again and again every time we meet. Love the complexity, the layers to characters and their relationships, inner conflicts between rational mind and desire, story-telling through facial expressions. Love how they portrayed insecurities, passions, manipulation, trust, expectations, contradictions, doubts, and butterflies in the stomach. Love how beautiful the visuals are, photography and scenes - all so lovely, enhancing the atmosphere, along with characters' feelings. Love how unconventional the characters and their stories are, but all the more real for it. They are not perfect, but ordinary extraordinary young people seeking freedom to live their best lives. [spoiler]Would have loved if we got to learn more about Park Jae-eon's backstory / history: what hurt him, and made him hide behind the walls as he did for such a long time. Kudos to Song Kang for nailing that almost-crying-barely-holding-composure goodbye scene in episode 10. That was some superb acting, I got chills.[/spoiler] >**A note to a younger me (and all young people out there who might be reading this): please say what you want / need to say clearly, to avoid misunderstandings and pointless suffering. Honestly I almost hate the first episode but actually it gets way better than I expected! I don't think this will be the jam of many, not a typical romantic story but instead a more complex and even if it aim to be mature and sometimes didn't hit the mark the final result it's a decent piece of art. The work between director and writer is probably the best, Kim Garam did a flawless job as usual and... is this the first drama from Jung Won? Gurl! We need you writing more dramas from now on!

This is not your typical young adult romance, it asks questions about attraction and romance without giving them easy answers. I found it difficult because I found one half of the couple to be an unrepentant, toxic mess and the other half so wise and cautious but completely lost in the pull of attraction. As other reviewers have pointed out, there is great charm in the interactions within the group of support characters, and to be honest, although I was disappointed with the ending, the journey was rather beautiful. I give this series a high 7 (good with beauty) out of 10. [Young Adult Romance]

This is a very *sexy* drama. It's slow and very much centered around the relationship (or lack-thereof) of the main couple, so if character driven stories aren't your thing, I don't think you'll like this. Personally, I loved it. I also quite enjoyed the close-ups on their eyes and mouths and the scenes where they showed parts of the faces and bodies of certain characters, but never the whole person at once. It was very reminiscente of manga or manhwa vignettes. I thought those were very cool directorial choices. The music went great with the overall chill vibe of the show, and it was fun how butterflies kept coming up in the songs. Great drama. 10/10 would recommend!
