This pretty much the same generic overpowered protagonist fantasy series that comes out from time to time. The plot is entirely devoid of creativity, the protagonist is extremely shallow, his abilities are far too overpowered, the supporting characters are completely neglected, the world-building is almost non-existent and above all our protagonist always knows who is behind a certain ordeal and fix it up in a snap. Overall this was watchable at the best.
This is the standard fantasy formula done well. The MC is OP & likable, but at the same time a bit of a know-it-all. All of his sidekicks are female, but I wouldn't call it a harem. Only one girl is interested in him, and he's interested in her...but it's very slow developing. The two main girl best friends both grow, but they're really the only ones with any form of character growth. Almost everyone grows in strength except for the MC, he seems to have all the answers from the very onset, so we don't see him grow into his strength. The pacing is solid and the story moves along quickly, keeping things interesting. The artwork is good, but the animation takes the occasional shortcut, which was a bit of a letdown. The uses of magic are awesome, but at the same time the actual fight scenes are lacking. I love an OP MC action-based series as much as the next guy, but they tried to raise the stakes at the end of this without earning it, and that's what stops it from being elite...as well as some of the animation. Definitely in for more of this story, but they've got to figure out a way to allow the MC to grow..

Yes it’s been done before. But who cares. It’s entertaining and fast paced. Hidden gem of 2022.
