The show sits at a 7.5 for me so I had to round it up to an 8. It could've been a solid 8 had the animations not been so bad outside of a handful of episodes (starting episodes and half of an episode towards the end). They must've have passed it off to the animation C-team. Will, the story, the characters kept me wanting to see more and episode 5 was a tear-jerker (again, for me).
Decided to give this one a rewatch since I didn't leave a review on my first pass. While I liked the MC in this, the pacing really left a lot to be desired. So many egregiously slow moments, but the story carries this most of the way. There were some great supporting characters, and the show's namesake, while not a strong lead, wasn't a weak lead either....he's just middle of the road. I definitely could have used a bit more action and a faster paced story, but it was an enjoyable watch.
