I haven't read the book. I just watched a movie wanting something on a day i felt sad and alone.....thus us a wonderful movie about humsnity about life about choices about rediscovering yourself at any age about loving yourself not because you look a certain way or you behave a certain way but vecause you are you the only one and that lo e carries over to others. Absolutely magnificent.

While I DID enjoy the book more, and there were parts of it I missed, I think they captured the essence of this sweet story rather well! Claes Månsson does a spectacular job portraying Einar. Recommend!
